Hi! We are planning a big family trip to Chicago for the weekend. About 20 people – adults and children. We need to get to several attractions: Millennium Park, Navy Pier, the Chicago Museum of Science. Everyone has different cars, but we want to go as one group so that no one gets lost. We are thinking about renting a bus or several cars. Tell me what is more convenient and affordable?

We took minibus, and it was a great choice. All together, there was enough space, the children were comfortable. I also liked that you can discuss the route in advance and stop at different points without worrying about traffic jams or parking. So for a family trip I recommend a minibus - it is roomy and affordable. Sprinter is also an option if you want to split the group into two parts.how much you want to spend.
Great idea! We did the same! We rented a Sprinter van from Coach America https://coachamerica.com/destinations/chicago . They are designed for 9-15 passengers, so we rented two. Very convenient: compact, but comfortable, you can talk freely on the road. If you have about 20 people – either two sprinters or one minibus (up to 28 passengers). It will be cheaper than renting several cars and driving separately. Plus, the drivers know the city and the routes, you don’t have to think about where to park.
