I’m curious about how these watches age over time. I bought a decent replica about two years ago, wore it regularly, and it still looks fine on the outside, but lately, it’s started losing a few seconds per day. I don’t mind minor drift, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had parts wear out — like the bezel getting loose or the power reserve dropping. Do these things just wear faster than originals, or can they actually last a good while?

From what I’ve seen, a lot depends on how people treat them. If it’s worn every day like a tool watch, even an original will show age after a few years. But if someone rotates between a few pieces and keeps them clean, even a replica can look fresh for ages. Sometimes regular maintenance does more for longevity than the initial build quality itself.
